I have been serving as president of my Student Council for 7 months now. My term ends in 2 months and I plan to get many things done. My school has many issues, and they don’t treat us fairly at all. Fellow peers always ask me, “Is it hard being president.” And my response, kinda. When I want something changed, I will usually write a report or a plan. Then the hard part is making my case to the principal and getting him to agree with it. I have submitted my Recess Plan to him, and that would enact recess once a week for my 7th Grade class, because currently we do not have recess at all. Also, I have just written a research report on our School Lunch Program. They have just reformed it and it SUCKS (according to research that shows 5 out of 5 students believes it “sucks”.) My research repot and plan call for the re-reformation of the Lunch Program. I hope this has given you a better look inside the presidency.
